Our Executive Team

Gary Paul Martin, a 1971 graduate of San Jose State University and renowned Silicon Valley financier, serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Polaris Benefits.  Mr. Martin was the first Treasurer of Apple Computer, and has served as the CFO of several well known Silicon Valley firms over the past thirty years, including Chips & Technologies, 3Dfx Interactive, and Halo Data Devices.  Mr. Martin's financial acumen and strong business relationships are now and will continue to be powerful tools in the future of Polaris Benefits.

Also serving on the Board of Directors are:

 

Polaris President Dave Long, CLU, ChFC, who has over thirty years in the insurance and benefits industry.

 
  Polaris Chief Operating Officer Valerie Long, who entered the insurance world in 1980 with international insurance brokerage giant Alexander & Alexander.  
 

Brian Fitzgerald is former Vice President of Operations of Intuit Corporation and former CEO of Public Mind, and has been a long time force in numerous high tech companies throughout Silicon Valley. Mr. Fitzgerald brings a wealth of knowledge on increasing the efficiency of internal operations and many contacts in the business community.
